Raji Shittu is Associate Professor at the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies (CPSS), Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from University of Jos, Nigeria in 2011 and Certificate Course in Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, USA in 2016. The scholar is the Chairman, Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) in Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter and a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria. He has many publications in local, national and international journals, and has attended conferences and training programmes locally and internationally. His areas of academic interest include International Relations and Strategic Studies, Governance and Conflict Studies, Global Peace and Security Studies.
