Vision & Mission Statement

The CPSS Vision is to make the University of Ilorin a global centre of excellence in Peace research and Documentation. The specific objectives of the Centre are to:

1. Train manpower in the field of Peace, Conflict, Security and Strategic Studies;
2. Provide students with theoretical and practical skills in Preventive Diplomacy Peacemaking, Peacebuilding, Strategic planning and management, and
3. Contribute to security, strategy and environmental sector management.
