Biography

Idowu Samuel Abidemi is a lecturer at the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds a B.A. degree in Comparative Religious Studies from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, with a second class-upper division in 2011, M.A. degree in Peace and Development Studies, and Ph.D. degree in Peace and Development Studies of the Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ilorin in 2015 and 2020 respectively. Dr. Idowu has a keen interest in peace practice and scholarship. His research interests cover arms proliferation, control and disarmament, human and national security, communal conflict and peace building.
